If I could give zero stars I would
This by far has been the worst Salon experience Ive ever had
weeks ago I organised an appointment with this Salon I told them how appreciative I was for fitting me in
Looking back I wish I walked out the second I walked in
The salon reeked of a freshly smoked cigarette and so did the hairdressers hands as she worked on my hair But I was far too polite to say anything
I asked for a full head of foils I had roughly inches of dark blonde regrowth
My sister in law would usually foil my hair and leave me as a fresh bright blonde but she has recently had a baby I was looking to treat myself as Id been suffering from morning sickness for weeks I finally had a day that I felt okay and some spare time that afternoon
Their facebook photos looked good so I was happy with what I had seen prior That led me to book with this Salon
My mistake I also regret not asking for a quote before going ahead As they charged me an absurd amount of once finished which I later noticed to be the worst colouring job Ive ever had
My hair is still dark around my face and neck were not touched the foils have bled throughout and Im left with ugly gold and dark chunks all over I will attach photos
I approached the Salon that night in a polite manner via Facebook simply asking if the price was correct
I will check tomorrow when Im back in the salon was their reply
No response the next day
In the meantime I did some research of other Hervey Bay Salon prices and found they generally all sit around for a full head of foils any length toner and cut is all included
I was charged individual prices which was stated to me at the checkout but I didnt question at the time

Once I realised this I contacted them again
No response
I contacted twice again
No response
I sent through photos of my hair
No response
I contacted another three times
No response
I began to realise I was being ignored and possibly had been blocked
I decided Id go to the Salon still hoping for a positive outcome There is no phone number to contact this Salon just Facebook
I had my mum come in with me also she had her hair washed and straightened that same afternoon She also tipped for her service
I spoke quietly with the owner Tegan I expressed that I was unhappy with the finished result I took my hair out to show her and also the photos Id taken But she didnt show much concern
I told her that Id been sending multiple messages and being ignored Which she answered me with weve been having technical difficulties That was later proven to be a lie which Ive got proof of
I was offered an appointment the following day to fix it and the difference between a half head and a full head back in return I wasnt aware of how much that would be I assumed as thats what I originally asked for Tegan gave me her mobile number on a card and asked me to forward my bank details I did this right in front of her and showed her Id sent it through from my phone
I didnt trust them to touch my hair again or want to cause anymore damage to my hair So I cancelled the appointment and opted for the refund
Later I recieved a reply from her number stating she would process the refund in the morning
No refund
I gave her the benefit of the doubt that she may have been busy But its almost a week on and still no refund I now know I was never going to receive any money back from her for the terrible service
It really was an act as they had clients listening while having their hair done at the time I was in mentioning how unhappy I was
Ive shown other hairdressers on Facebook these photos and explained everything Which they have all supported me and said the result and cost is appalling that I should have been refunded the full amount and to leave this review for future potential paying customers
My daughter and I had our hair done here and we are completely satisfied with our new hair do My hair was dry and looking very neglected now its so shiny and feels amazing
My daughter is usually a nightmare for hairdressers because she cant sit still but staff here were lovely and kept her entertained and made it an enjoyable experience
Will definitely be coming back
