Really poor nail experience wonky nails not filed correctly and gel polish peeling off just after I left Lumpy nails and cuticles left dry and cracked Asked for nail art they didnt know how to do it it was dots and when asked for lines they wanted to charge an extra Definitely avoid

I showed the lady an inspiration of a photo I walked out with all my nails different shapes and lengths I paid for these nails which is wayyy over priced I only came down to visit and left feeling angry with the nails I paid a lot of money for And when I did say something the lady huffed and puffed not happy

I popped into the salon at about pm today and asked if she could remove my acrylic nails and do a new set as I had ripped one nail off and another was half off so I was desperate I was told she could do them and to come back at pm I returned at pm and then had to wait half and hour as she had taken another customer When it was my turn she asked what I wanted I reiterated that I needed them removed and a new acrylic set She had started to file the old polish off and then said she didnt have time to do a new set I said I needed a new set as these needed to come off I reminded her that she had told me to come in at pm and I had told her what I wanted previously She continued to file off the old polish with so much hast and very little care that she kept burning me with the metal drill bit and I had to pull my hand away in pain several times I asked why she wasnt soaking them off as thats what I was used to at my normal salon She didnt reply just carried on hastily filing She then glued on new tips and put on far too much glue that oozed out under my nails The whole process was rushed and shoddily done The nails are rough and the polish is lumpy and particles of dust in it Then to top it off she caught the side of my little finger with the file and made it bleed I told her to stop as she said it was nothing and wanted to carry on I pulled my hand away and said no I was painful and I needed some antiseptic She ignored my complaint I asked repeatedly if she had any antiseptic and she went to the first box and got a plaster out I said I didnt want a plaster I needed antiseptic I got up and washed my hands and looked at my finger again and told her she had hurt me She looked at it and said it was nothing She did not apologise for injuring me or for burning my several times during the treatment I asked how much I owed her and she said I asked why it was that much when she had not removed the old nails properly had burnt me and then injured me I looked at the price list on the wall and the price for a new set of acrylics was which I pointed out She said I had gels and she had removed them aswell I said I had wanted acrylics and she had not removed them properly and I was only going to pay her as I was not happy She said it was and I reiterated that I was not prepared to pay that much for the service I had received She took the money and said you never come back ever again I said I had no intention of ever coming back This was the worst nail salon I have ever been to I am a qualified nail technician so I know how it should be done and the standards of health safety and hygiene that should be adhered to This salon does NOT meet these standards and should be avoided I presume they rely on holiday makers because any locals would be mad to return after receiving such appalling service Unfortunately it was the only salon I could find locally and I was in a hurry to get my nails fixed but I travel further afield to find a good salon in future I will be reporting them and if my injury becomes infected I will take further
