I went in for a haircut and showed the barber a reference picture of a burst cut but I clearly told him that I wanted a burst cut instead He agreed However when he started trimming the sides he used a guard When I pointed this out instead of acknowledging the mistake he began arguing with me I stayed quiet and allowed him to continue but he then did a burst fade which resulted in both sides looking completely different When I raised the issue again he continued arguing I then asked his colleague to step in and even she confirmed that he was in the wrong yet he started arguing with her as well His attitude throughout the service was extremely unprofessional I eventually asked him to stop and walked out because I couldnt tolerate the behaviour anymore Despite this I was still charged for a haircut that was not done as requested and ended up ruining my hair Ive been a regular customer at this place for the past two years but after this experience I will never be returning

Lily has run this place for the last years and is dedicated to sensibly priced cuts and washes If you want bougie hairstyling and a beverage on arrival then look elsewhere You get what you pay for which in this case is a perfectly serviceable intermediate trim or tidy If you adjust your expectations accordingly you may be as satisfied as most of us who keep returning are

My regular barber has retired and today I have finally found my replacement barber shop The girl who cut my hair listened to how I wanted my hair cut and then proceeded to cut my hair precisely how I wanted it cut with pleasant effortless professionalism When finished she asked if I was happy with the cut and if I wanted it any shorter to which I requested yes please a little shorter on top She then did so with the utmost effortless pleasure and professionalism Fantastic prices too Well worth the minute train trip I have finally found the hairdresser to replace my barber who retired
