Auto Repair El Mexicano

I originally went to these guys because it was close to the impound lot and I needed to get my car fixed because it was not in drivable condition The owner completely lacks communication with me and on two occasions has told me my car is ready for pick up but when I went both times they ended up telling me my car was not in drivable due to some part leaking something being bent etc They did not call me text me or anything Every time I provided them the parts for my vehicle yes I provided the parts they told me itd be free to install but then said it took us a long time to install and you should at least give us when they CLEARLY told me itd be a free installation if I provided the parts Overall these people over promise and under deliver and lack the communication skills to tell you what is going on with your vehicle and when to pick up your car Save yourself the time and energy and go with some other location Its not worth spending your money here and its better spent elsewhere

I drive a Saturn Vue that I purchased from an auction The engine light was on and as we all know vehicles with engine lights on will NOT pass emission testing After doing a bit of research for an auto shop that I thought would meet my needs I decided to come to El Mexicano I was able to bring my car that same day and after a few hours I received a call from Carlos letting me know what issues the car had and how much it was going to cost to fix the issues I was highly pleased with the service attentiveness price and how fast they got my vehicle finished After agreeing on the price Carlos told me he would get to working on the vehicle the next day So I left my car and received a call that the vehicle was ready the day after My car was gone for literally days The engine light was fixed They went above and beyond to meet my needs and my boyfriends I will be coming back for ANY services that our cars may need n the future Thank you

Friendly staff but replaced parts without authorization and expected me to pay I had only requested for them to look for any issues and call me They proceed to replace parts and then call Then when I requested to see the parts they replaced they did not know where it was and had to go look for minutes Then they wanted to charge me for the replacements and the old part that apparently had problems
