I had my haircut here a few days ago and feel compelled to write this review I have been before and have never had an issue but my regular barber was not present so waited in turn to see who would become free Two guys in front of me were next and decided to wait for their regular barber rather than go to the one who was free standard practice we all do it I felt like I should go to him and I really wish I hadnt I hadnt seen him before but he looked like an apprentice I didnt pay apprentice prices and he didnt seem to have many years experience lets put it that way All I needed was a little trim on the back and sides and a small amount mm taken off the top and a beard trim The hair cut itself didnt seem too bad after he soaked my hair in water but he left a huge step on the right hand side of my hair that I didnt notice until I got home sitting down ft from a mirror you dont notice the imperfections really but thats a lesson learned for me to always go closer and check before leaving Then came the beard trim I asked for it for a and to be blended into the hair fair enough easy enough I thought He used the trimmer then a remington style electric shaver never lined it with a straight razor no hot towel no lotion left several long hairs on my neck didnt get rid of the oclock shadow when he took the electric shaver to it Again I didnt notice this till I got home to a closer mirror I called the barbers after spoke to a lovely woman in the hair dressers above who called me back and said I could go in and someone else would put it right I considered it but went elsewhere the next day to sort the step out on the side of my head I completed the beard myself at home I Paid euro for this including tip on top of the fee I paid the next day to put it right An absolute disaster from start to finish I come here every couple of weeks as well as with my boys when they need a haircut but Ill be avoiding it like the plague from now on and Id advise everyone else do the same or at the very least avoid the young lad that cut my hair Sorry to say that but more training is require if I finished jobs like that in my profession Id be out the door before my feet could touch the ground

Was booked with Peter accommodating me with short notice when he wasnt able to meet my needs one of the other girls jumped in and did a brilliant job on my hair Very happy

I had my very straight hair blow dried by Peter and I believe he gives the best blow dry definitely on the north side in Dublin anyway A very pleasant chap to deal with and a good sense of humor Thank you Peter
