Opal Nails & Spa Ballina

My latest experience with Opal was so appalling I will never be back We made an appointment several days in advance via text as they didnt answer their phone when we rang but when we arrived we were told there was no appointment for us and they were full Had the managerowner apologised for his mistake it would have been fine as mistakes happen to all of us We told him wed booked by text and at first he said that if he didnt confirm then we didnt have an appointment However when we showed him the text message showing he had responded and confirmed we had booked appointments he not only didnt apologise but he told us it was our fault as we hadnt confirmed with him What Ive attached a pic of the text message as nowhere does he ask us to confirm his response clearly says see you Wednesday Had it said yes there is availability can you please confirm we would have no worries The ownermanager showed such disregard for us as customers that this business doesnt deserve further custom I would strongly recommend anyone thinking of visiting them to use the other nail salons in Ballina in which Ive had a much better experience These appointments were part of a special birthday day of celebrations so while it didnt ruin the entire birthday it was a totally unnecessary and avoidable bad experience in which the ownermanager did not appear to care in the least

I was really disappointed with my pedicure I paid and the polish chipped within two days The staff were lovely however for the price the quality unfortunately wasnt there My friend also had acrylic nails done at the same time and was similarly disappointed two of her nails chipped shortly after and she felt the service was rushed and careless Overall the experience didnt meet our expectations for the cost

I got my nails done and they were missing a bit by the cuticle I came back and they finished it no extra cost The sweetest staff and best customer service I loved my nails Loove
