I was visiting Dublin had just spent weeks sailing in Turkey and my hair was a mess frizzy etc We walked by the sign with prices which were very reasonable walked up several flights of stairs and quickly were taken care of I was the only person with red hair and freckles in the busy shop but the wash and blow dry was wonderful and staff was friendly Cash only

Very poor been coming here since Covid Wont be back gave them to many chances Unqualified workers there cant speak any English boss is good but doesnt seem to be interested doing hair for Irish people only looks after his own I asked times the unqualified staff my hair was not what I wanted yet three times after telling them he still left lumps everywhere Half shaved I had to go and get it shaved completely elsewhere Last time this happened I went in days later to complain to the boss he cut my hair to fix the problem then goes and charges me What the I wont be back again utter shocking place trust me find somewhere else for a few quid more

I was rather disappointed I asked for a blowout with volume and some waves aka a blowout done with a large round brush a fairly standard service They began drying my hair and the first piece was completely pinstraight At that point I stopped him and asked again can I please have a blowout with volume and wave And I sort of explained and demonstrated how I wanted it done They said we will blow dry it straight and then curl it and I said thats not what I asked for I dont want curls and they insisted it would be better As most of you probably know a blowout is not the same as drying straight and then curling its a totally different look Not to mention it uses twice the amount of heat on the hair and takes twice as much time But not wanting to be too difficult and wanting to trust they knew what they were doing I said ok But they clearly werent understanding what I wanted Then when they started curling it he held the curler on the first piece for seconds I counted until it started steaming I asked that they not hold it on my hair so long because its damaging to the hair I would never hold the curler on my hair more than seconds After asking times and asking the manager they finally reduced to seconds However for the pieces near my face he curled them towards my face which nobody ever does honestly I was really confused I had to show him exactly how to do it correctly so it didnt look stupid But of course the pieces he had to redo ended up losing their curl almost immediately At the end when I went to pay they informed me they only accept revolut and cash I asked before I even sat down to wash my hair whether they accept credit card and they had said YES Now they were saying they did not but they would accompany me to a bank I was really displeased with this service It ended up being more expensive than I expected e and my hair isnt even very long and also took way longer than it shouldve all because they insisted on this method of straight blow drying then curling Would not recommend at all unless you want your hair pinstraight with no volume and want to waste your time The place also reeks of fish
