Awful experience went in for a helix piercing firstly the receptionist told me you mean upper ear piercing honey no the helix is the part of the ear that gets pierced and wouldnt be described as upper ear Secondly and this is VERY IMPORTANT I learned that no cartilage should EVER be pierced with a piercing gun that can be used for lobes from the second place I went to get my piercing fixed When I asked about the equipment and stud this is what we use its fine was the response The piercing was bleeding a lot and the right stud was also not put in so I had to pay an expensive visit to another piercing salon to get their mistakes fixed they were horrified by what had been done Luckily I had no lasting damage to my ear because of the wrong gun being used But in other cases the cartilage is shattered causing disformation
