This was genuinely one of the worst customer service experiences I infove ever had with a salon I booked and paid upfront through Treatwell drove into the city and spent on parkingonly to be told on arrival that the stylist Ashley didn infot know she was even available for bookings She claimed she had just come back from maternity leave and wasn infot aware the salon had added her back onto the app Yet in the same breath she told me she already had other clients booked which made the whole situation feel completely disorganised and unprofessional When I asked her to find someone else to cover the appointmentsince I had already paidshe went to speak to someone who appeared to be the manager The manager didn infot bother to speak to me directly offer an apology or attempt to resolve anything Instead Ashley simply returned to tell me they still couldn infot take me even though they had other staff present Her only solution was offering a refund that she wasn infot even able to process She didn infot take my details couldn infot confirm when or how the refund would happen and basically left me standing there with nothing but vague promises So at that point I was out over including parking with zero service provided and no accountability from anyone in the salon This place clearly lacks organisation communication and basic professionalism The staff don infot seem trained to handle bookings and the management doesn infot step in even when there infos a clear issue affecting a paying customer The entire experience was stressful frustrating and completely avoidable if they managed their system properly I strongly advise avoiding this salon They advertise themselves as a boutique but based on how they handled this situation they are far from it

I infove been going to Charl for years as he knows how to cut my unruly hair style it so it infos easy to manage infosassy info as someone said yesterday Sam does excellent colour which looks subtle but gives my dull natural colour a real lift I get so many complements when they infove done my hair Cant recommend Papillon highly enough
