Firstly the person dong the shellac on my nails worked way too fast He did one nail at a time on each hand and flicked back and forward doing the same The nails look good when i left the salon but days later I noticed the shellac wearing at the top of a nail on my right hand The next day I had a significant chip out of the shellac on the right hand and by the next day the same on the left hand Thats not acceptable Contrast this two weeks earlier when I had shellac applied at a proper beauty salon in Victoria The cost was slightly higher but I had no wearing and no chipping and the beautician took her time Her shellac application lasted weeks with no chopstop wear and only regrowth at the nail base Also it would be nice if the nail technician did more than grunt or mumble at the customer The only time there was smile or actual intelligible words was when i was paying and leaving Ive had to use normal nail polish in a similar colour to patch my nails over until I get the shellac removed I will not be returning to Liam Nails

Im writing to share my significant disappointment with two recent visits to your salon My first visit was about two weeks before my second appointment on July During that first visit I received a shellac pedicure with black French tips and a manicure Unfortunately my pedicure chipped within just two days Despite this I decided to give your salon a second chance On July I planned for a pedicure manicure and several waxing services I ultimately got a full leg underarm and Brazilian wax which took an unusually long three hours to complete Beyond the lengthy duration the waxing technique was far from satisfactory My legs were left noticeably patchy around the knees For the Brazilian wax the technician trimmed my hair excessively short resulting in an incredibly patchy outcome with several hairs remaining With years of consistent waxing experience I know how to prepare for effective hair removal This was the first time Ive encountered such poor technique especially with my coarse hair I even tried to offer guidance observing her method but she continued her way I truly regret not stopping the service then Ultimately I had to go to my usual salon TNs Nails where Vicki expertly corrected the waxing What should have cost at your salon ended up costing an receiving a discount for the disatisfactory Adding to my frustration the technician repeatedly giggled seemingly dismissing my clear expressions of dissatisfaction regarding the patchy results and her ineffective technique I reiterated multiple times that I had intentionally left my hair at a length that allows for smooth complete removal I directly shared my feedback with the owner emphasizing the technicians need for more practice or training The day after my waxing I developed rashes and small pimples across my legs an issue I dont typically experience with proper waxing While I initially tried Liams Nails for its competitive pricing these experiences have unfortunately led me to conclude that I will not be returning for future services

Had my SNS nails done at Liams today Unlike many quick service nail salons run by hard working Vietnamese folk whose aim is to get as many customers through as possible they took the time to do an excellent and thorough job and I was very happy with the end result I dont mind if they dont want to chat Id rather have a great looking set of nails
