The absolute worst experience at a hair dressers I have NEVER had a worse experience than this I dont usually got to hair salons but when I do its mainly for formal events and fancy occasions Had my year graduation dinner at crown a few days ago and upon preparation of this special event my mum made an appointment with Roi months in advance to get my hair cut and styled We got a message from the woman who was supposed to do my hair that she was running minutes late which threw off everything as I had a makeup appointment directly after As I sat in the chair once I got there I had a horrible gut feeling My mum who sat next to me told me to give it a chance so I sat there whilst this stylist did my hair I felt extremely uncomfortable the whole time as she was calling me the wrong name and I showed her a photo of a bun I had back in February asking her if she could do that in my hair again She said yes and I told her that there was a specific part on my head that Id like to be looser because it was a spot that I was self conscious of She proceeded to slick back my hair keeping the part I wanted covered uncovered After minutes she said it was done and I felt so horrible as it was nothing like what I asked for and she ignored all of my requests I asked to see the back properly through her holding up a mirror to the back of my head and I burst into tears My mum also burst into tears because we had no time to find a new hairdresser to fix this mess The hairdresser never asked if I was okay the entire time I asked if she could just take it all out and curl it instead as we ran out of time because my makeup appointment was in minutes Not once did she use heat protectant on my hair and she yanked my hair when she brushed it too When I was leaving the salon my hair looked so flat and worse which I didnt even know was possible We did not pay for this The stylist didnt even try to argue with us as she knew it was bad too Luckily the lovely girls at Mecca nearby fixed the mess

I cant recommend Jess enough shes not only the best hairdresser Ive ever been to but also the loveliest person Im so glad I found her She has an incredible ability to take your vision and bring it to life with an amazing eye for colour and detail Im always excited for my next appointment and walk away completely blown away by her work every time The salon itself is so lovely and relaxed and everyone there is so warm and welcoming

Always have the best shag haircut after coming here Only issue it grows out so fast Very nice team happy to chat or not depending on your mood
